Splenic abscess : successful treatment by percutaneous aspiration

ABSTRACT: Splenic abscess is a condition that required splenectomy for treatment till recently. This may lead to compromised immunological functions in the pediatric patients. Authors describe a successfully treated case of splenic abscess by percutaneous aspiration and antibiotics.
